What To Expect

At a morning departure time to suit your schedule, board an air-conditioned vehicle destined for Batalha at your Porto hotel. If you wish to witness the evening candle procession in Fátima, your tour start time will be later in the afternoon. During the journey to Batalha, relax and enjoy the landscapes of northern Portugal. On arrival, agree a flexible meeting time with your driver and set off to explore Batalha independently. After purchasing lunch in a recommended restaurant, return to your vehicle and proceed to Fátima — a pilgrimage site celebrated for an apparition of Virgin Mary. Explore the Sanctuary of Fátima, the final resting place of the three shepherd children that the Virgin Mary appeared to, and visit the Church of the Holy Trinity. Reconvene with your driver at an arranged time and relax during the drive to Porto, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel.
